“高大法學 글로벌 장학생”(KU Global Scholar) 선발 안내
1. 고려대학교 법학전문대학원은 국제교류를 심화하고 역사적·사회적 책임 수행의 목적으로 “高大法學 글로벌 장학생”(KU Global Scholar) 선발을 계획하고 있으며, 세부사항은 아래와 같습니다.
(1) 대상: 고려대학교 일반대학원 법학과에서 전업으로 박사과정을 수행할 요르단 및 우즈베키스탄 국적 학생(독립운동가 후손
우대)으로서 2020년 전기 일반 외국인전형 신입생으로 입학 가능한 사람.
(2) 선발 예정인원: 1명
(3) 자격: ① 매우 우수한 학업 성적, ② 균형있는 성품 등.
(4) 대우: 최장 4학기(박사과정 기간) 동안 주거 제공, 매월 생활비(100만원) 지급. 등록금
제공 가능(이 경우 특정업무를 부과할 수 있음).
(5) 예비선발:
- 장학생 선발을 위한 예비심사는 고려대학교 법학전문대학원에 설치된 위원회에서 시행
하며, 예비선발 절차에 지원하기 위해 필요한 서류는 ① 高大法學 글로벌 장학생 지원서
및 이력서, ② 학사·석사 졸업(예정)증명서 및 성적증명서, ③ 학장과 지도교수의 추천서
각 1부, ④ 학업계획서, ⑤ 기타 해당 학생의 우수한 자질을 증명하는 자료.
※ 증명서 외에는 모두 자유양식

KU Law Global Scholar Selection Information
1. To enhance international exchange and fulfill historical and social responsibilities, the Korea University School of Law intends to select a KU Law Global Scholar. Details are provided below.
(1) Applicant: Student with ① Uzbekistan citizenship (preference granted to a descendant of participants in the independence movement), Jordan citizenship ② admitted to Department of Law, KU Graduate School, as a Spring semester in 2020 ③ via the general admission process for foreign students, and ④ willing to become a full-time doctoral student in the Department of Law.
(2) Selection Quota: 1 person
(3) Qualification: ① Excellent GPA, ② Well-balanced character, etc.
(4) Benefits: Provision of ① housing for a maximum of 4 semesters during the doctoral course, ② monthly living expenses of one million won, and possibly ③ tuition (in which case specified additional duties may be required).
(5) Preliminary Selection:
- Preliminary evaluation for selection of the KU Law Global Scholar recipient is conducted by the Committee established at the KU School of Law. To apply for the preliminary selection process, the following documents are required: ① Application for KU Law Global Scholar and resume; ② Diploma (or certification of prospective graduation) and transcript of Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees; ③ Recommendation letter from the Dean and advisor of the applicant’s previous school(s); ④ Statement of Purpose; ⑤ Other references demonstrating the excellence of the applicant
